The nylon-insulated ring terminals in the RNY Nylon-Insulated Ring Terminals series are supplied for stud-mounted wire termination using a nylon-insulated ring tongue. Ring and spade terminals use a crimp barrel on the wire side and a tongue on the mounting side. Wire size determines the barrel choice, while stud or screw size determines the tongue opening.
RNY combines a nylon-insulated barrel with a closed ring tongue. The ring remains captive after the fastener is installed, but wire-barrel fit and stud-opening fit must still be selected separately.
